HomeWe are currently looking to establish a good communication channel between the residents of our building and the Chicago Police Department. The following is information you may find useful:
We have received many questions from residents about excessive animal noise issues and what can be done about it. There is a city ordinance that allows the owner of a nuisance pet to be fined when the barking is excessive. To file a complaint, three residents from different units can fill out the form below. This form should be submitted to your local police department.
As a reminder to our residents, all guests are expected to sign-in. If you have guest visiting please make sure they respect and follow this policy. This rule is in place for the overall safety of everyone in the building.

A Reminder about Balconies and StairwellsIt has come to our attention that a few residents may be committing behaviors that are not acceptable (these behaviors may upset our surrounding neighbors): 1) Throwing cigarette butts over the railings is prohibited in our "Rules and Regulations" or any other objects for that matter. 2) We know the weather has been cold, but if you have a pet DO NOT let your pet(s) relieve themselves on the balcony. Not only is it in our "Rules and Regulations"; but it is also a City Ordinance, where a violation could result in a ticket and a fine. If you see someone performing either of the two items stated above, let them know they are in the wrong and violating the association rules. If they persist or continue in the behavior, please report them and then we the Association can deal with it as an escalation point. Thank you, Shoemaker Loft Board
